Kingston’s festive season officially got underway last week as over 5000 visitors flocked to the town centre to mark the official opening of our celebrated Christmas Market, with the switch-on of the town’s festive illuminations. Kirsten Henly, Chief Executive of Kingston First, commented: "We were delighted to see so many people out enjoying the start of Christmas in Kingston. We are looking forward to welcoming more over the coming weeks with lots more festive activity to come".
